Is it easy for engineers to become TPMs?
Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

I don't find the google and other certs super helpful. In sales, experience is much more important.
Are you looking to stay in Retail? Not sure which retail related positions offer WFH but a lot of sales/recruiting jobs that are fairly entry level are now available to do from home or hybrid at the least.
No, i think i am done with Retail :)
Tons of great WFH sales jobs, and your background in retail should give you a bit of a leg up on other entry-level candidates. Get your resume updated to reflect all of the skills that you currently have that are listed in the job descriptions for where you're applying.
Yes, true. Thanks
It depends on what type of industry you want to work. Besides the certificates, one vital thing to do is get some experience through volunteering.
I love WFH jobs! But I have to be honest; it took me a couple of years to get used to it. Especially having a system, don't get distracted.
I would look for wfh jobs on Linked in and Indeed. That is where I found my current role. You can search by just remote roles.
Yes, good advice. I will def try, thanks
WFH jobs are highly coveted these days so do whatever you can to standout - esp since your background has required you work face to face with customers. Google PM cert is a great idea along with PMP cert or if you're into it try a coding bootcamp!
Just get a remote customer service job and work your way up
