Chase Freedom Flex or Unlimited. No annual fees.
Capital One Savor or Quicksilver. No annual fees. Both equivalent.
Anything above 760+ won’t really matter. A mix of credit, low revolving utilization, on time payments and total average age of open credit history will really matter. The only reason to shoot for a 800+ score and maintain it is to have a buffer to reduce it when opening new lines of credit or hard credit check to open a loan so it does not get hit too hard.
Raising your credit score will do nothing for you if you are already at 800

Citi double cash back gets 2% on everything with no annual fee. Nerdwallet and Points Guys both have lists of current offers/bonuses for new cards. Worth checking them out.
How do you have such a high credit score at 22? I’m 24 and my credit score is the highest it’s ever been at 750. I’ve owned multiple credit cards and always pay my bills on time, in full. Honestly I don’t fully understand credit scores and how they’re computed.
Unless my parents have a card in my name that I don’t know about then the only way I’ve built credit is through my one credit card I have. I’ve had it for maybe 4-5 years and it is the only way I pay for things. One thing to note is how much of your credit you are using. You get penalized if you use more than 30% or something of your credit limit
Depends on your spending habits. Do you eat out a lot? Travel a lot? Use Amazon a lot?
CSP/CSR is usually a good one
If most of your shopping is through Amazon, look into the Chase Amazon Prime Rewards Visa. 5% back on all Amazonand whole foods purchases if you have Prime.
If you’re looking for cash back, SoFi gives you 3% unlimited cash back the first year if you have direct deposit with them. After that, it’s 2%.
Hi! 👋 Join me in using the SoFi Credit Card. Use my link to apply. If you're approved, we'll both earn a referral bonus! https://www.sofi.com/invite/credit-card?gcp=082701aa-d977-408c-b3af-b00effb33d16&isAliasGcp=false
Ahhhh, these are excellent questions! Chase has an unspoken 5/24 rule meaning you can only have access to their cards if you have applied for fewer than 5 cards within the last 24 months. It would be best to prioritize those first if you are interested and move forward.
The second consideration is what do you already spend money on and how can a CC help you maximize that area.
The third consideration is the annual fee. Do you care?
I love love love that you have a clear pathway to think about money. I did the same thing when I was 22 so now I have about 7 more cards for eight total. I haven’t cracked into 800 just yet but I’m so close.
If you want to chat more, feel free to respond or DM me.
For dining out and entertainment I recommend capital one savor it has a $95/yearly fee, but offers 4% on this category. 3% at regular grocery stores (not Walmart), and everything else is 1%. Occasionally I get 10% back online shopping at under armor and some other rotating deals. Earn about $400/yr back so enough to recoup my yearly cost.
Can you transfer balances? Does the cash back one go dollar for dollar. And stupid question can you apply it to your bill?
I get like 1% on most things, 2% on groceries, 3% on a select category, for me it’s dining out. I can send the cash back to my balance if I want

Chase Freedom, Capital One Savor and Venture one and Amex Everyday Blue, any no annual fee card with opening bonus more than $200 is considered as good for you.
If you go for the Amex BCE, then use the Resy offer for a better sign–up bonus.
Chase sapphire preferred gave me the largest credit line of the cards I have now which helps increase credit if you don’t have much right now. I’d make a decision soon because with where the economy is heading it wouldn’t be surprising to see bonus offers reduced or credit restrictions tighten.
Now you can earn 60,000 bonus points with the Chase Sapphire Preferred® credit card. If you apply and get approved, we can both earn rewards:

Get the SoFi credit card. I love them. 3% cash back on everything for 1 year when you direct deposit, then 2% on everything. No annual fees. They pay 3% interest on savings and 2.5% on checking, plus you get your paycheck 2 days early
CSR - highest intro bonus it’s had in a while (80k)
Bilt - great if you pay rent and it’s accepted
Amex gold - good multipliers
Venturex - good 2x on everything and getting paid to keep the card
