Looking back, it kind of hurts that an employer only gave me a 3% raise from the base salary I started with two years ago out of college and making less than a new hire at some companies. Got industry offer at bank, cyber. Would be going from 110 to 130. Perks are comparable. I feel like it is on lower end of comp based on Glassdoor and elsewhere. Considering countering at 135-140.

Do you have to be ready to ask for more salary/bonus/other perks right when they call you to make the offer, or can you ask for time to consider and then call back with your additional requests? I’m not the best at thinking quickly on the spot, so feel like I could be more thoughtful if I took a day or two to consider my requests.

I applied for a job at Visa and was contacted the same day. A few days later I had a 30-minute screening interview with the hiring manager. I knew I was very early in the process since the job had only been posted for a few days. It's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard back, even after reaching out to the recruiter. I join tcs by changing my profile and my previous exp was in 5 yr pre-sales.
