Hello, I have an offer from Publicis Sapient for their product management internship program. Wondering if anyone has any insight into the program (exits, etc) and how the return offer looks like in terms of salary. I still also hold an interest in data science so might go with another offer but I’m not sure if it is a wise choice to let go of a PM offer while I have it.
Is it worth to resign in this recession time ?

Almost all companies also look for “experienced hires”, look for that in the websites
You need to bring a subject matter proficiency/expertise to be an experienced hire—even if you’re looking for an entry-level position. What type of consulting are you looking to do?
Also, you may want to consider going with a smaller firm to get consulting experience before looking to get into a larger one. I’d strongly encourage you consider this approach rather than pursuing advanced degrees, certifications, etc. in the hopes that those will get you into a firm.
Smaller, but still established firms (think GT, BDO, RSM not MBB or big 4 or Accenture) are more open to experienced hires new to consulting.
Consider the timing of your applications to. Hiring for this calendar year is mostly done, as firms had a lot of campusnhires join in the fall and don't want even more new hires sitting on the bench during the holidays. The next big hiring season may be around March. By then, companies will have experienced some attrition, and all the campus hires would have been absorbed, so they should be more open to new applicants in general.
Accenture also has an apprentice program
Get hired at a boutique consulting firm first to get some experience. Then network as much as you can and try to get a referral from people inside your target firms. Also pay attention to the hiring cycles - this is more important for consulting than many other industries.
I applied to entry level role with a couple years of experience. It was a step back for sure, but I got into MBB and now exiting to PE. Definitely worth the set back if you are set on changing careers
