I applied for a role that had a $200-$225k salary range, and in the application, I put my desired salary as $215k. After receiving a first round interview a few days later (scheduled for this week), I reopened the job posting to see the salary range was actually $200-$275k. Given this, I would have been much more comfortable putting $250k as my desired salary (and $250k certainly seems fair given my experience is on the upper end of this role). When/how should I bring this up?
