I applied for M promotion SO in TMP, and also informed the relevant team. However, I didn't receive any response, and the next day I was assigned to a non-promotional project which I already selected. I accepted it because I didn't want to miss the opportunity, considering job security. Now, I feel that was a poor decision on my part, and I regret it.

I work at a mid tier firm in an audit group of ~20 people. We’ve recently had two seniors and a manager leave, and I just found out another senior with a ton of big jobs is leaving in three weeks.
