I applied to PwC’s Workforce Transformation group for their SA position as a campus hire almost a month ago but I haven’t heard back. Any insight on the process? I applied outside of my school but got a referral from a partner (just a recommendation email to the recruiting team since campus hires don’t follow the traditional referral path), so I feel like that should help my case. For added reference I do have work experience, 2-3 years, so I’m a grad student.

What’s the culture like at FTI Consulting?
I recently got a verbal offer from KPMG strategy. Is that more prestigious than like, most other firms? Like, I know MBB is done with recruiting; I feel like below MBB for name recognition is the Big 4 and other firms aren’t as reputable. I’m trying to decide whether or not I should interview and apply to other firms or just take this one (assuming a written offer ever comes along). Also, I prioritize work culture and exit opportunities over salary, but don’t want to be paid below poverty line.

So… you applied for a Senior Associate role as a campus hire? Do you have any experience?
Indeed, about 3 years of experience industry experience. Confirmed with the recruiter the route I should follow, so wasn’t purely a shot in the dark.
Are you in grad school? I don’t think anyone hires senior associates out of undergrad, that would be extremely unusual
Hey! I have very little insight into today’s recruiting programme, things have changed a lot since I applied 5 years ago. But I am a WM grad and love seeing applicants from the Tribe! A few questions for you:
- is there a reason that you didn’t apply via the WM career center? They are super organised about how they handle campus hiring there
- is there a reason that you applied as a SA vs A? Campus hires are typically considered A level.
Added in above, but yes, grad student in analytics, work experience is in the space of recruiting and human capital. (Apologies trying to directly reply but it’s not letting me/not sure how)
@pwc2 school was really on directly hiring for Transfer pricing and CMAAS, so recruiter told me to apply to an SA role given my years of experience/being a grad student, even though it’s a bit tangential.
Are you an MBA candidate? We only hire into Senior Associate roles from MBA!
I’m an MBA candidate. Can I dm? Got a couple questions I’d like to ask
Okay, so I recommend reaching out to the recruiter that you’ve been working with to get an update. Unfortunately, I don’t think there is that much weight of a partner recommendation email tbh.
