Hey folks
I got a call from TCS to interview for a new unit formed within org with the name of Business Transformation Group as per new org restructuring. Anyone from TCS who can help to understand more about this?
Does it cater to only niche technologies or how does this actually function?

1. Do want kids? How many?
2. Where do you want to live?
3. Will you work? Doing what?
4. How much money do you have?
5. How much money do you expect to have?
6. Separate bank accounts or joint?
7. How much debt do you have?
Etc etc
I’m sorry.
Can you elaborate on what those serious discussions involved? What did you talk about? What questions did you ask?

@Associate1:
Most questions look like they are suited more for a business partner rather than a life partner.
@SC1
Absolutely.
The biggest factor in marriages failing is financial misalignment. You need total transparency on that just as you would have in a business partnership
Lived w my ex on and off while dating. Divorced after 5 years.
Lived w my current husband, accidentally met recently into my separation from first husband, which I initiated. Married 4 months after divorce was final Still married.
I told my now husband that I was separated and couldn’t ‘date’. He asked me if I wanted to ‘have fun!…’no date’…ah, yeah! So we ‘didn’t date’ everyday thereafter until we married while I was 5 months pregnant 😬

I personally would never marry someone without living with them first but I get that there are those with religious or cultural objections to that. I think those discussions are important too and my husband and I had them very early on in our relationship. We even did a test-run when we were dating before he moved in where he came and stayed with me a week so we could identify any potential issues with living together. I think the fact we have always had such good and open communication has really gotten us through the hard times. We also promise to each other that we will try our best to approach issues as “me and you vs. the problem” rather than “me vs. you.”
