I have even seen dog carriers as they have for babies. They need to walk to get exercise.
I think it's cute, but you're right they need to learn how to walk but if it's on hot concrete I totally understand if they just want to stroll their babies.
Can't really blame those people because they treat their dogs as family. If they find a balance of walking them and putting them in strollers then it's totally fine
Actually, they are actually exactly that to most dog owners. They are babies that need to be treated like babies, it doesn't hurt the dogs so it's okay. I don't bat an eye about it
Some of these dogs can't be tamed when left on their own. I know a friend who's fur baby is a ball of energy so they only bring their pet in public on a stroller.
Trueee! I have seen this countless of times already. Some of these strollers are more expensive than most babies use.
Some of these dogs are treated by their fur parents like an actual baby. I can't even imagine how much they spend for them. It's like raising an actual child.
I strongly urge my patients' parent to let them walk as much as possible. I understand having a carrier for a small dog when shopping and airport, etc, but otherwise I think it's overkill
Yes at my office we tell them how good walking is for the dog's health and filing their nails
Sometimes I wonder how dogs feel about this lol Are they enjoying it or extremely annoyed and just want to be free and wild
There should be a government watch list for folks who put dogs in strollers if you ask me. We already have enough humans not getting enough steps in.
It's a bit much. We are seeing more dogs in strollers than babies. Strange times.
