Well, I was the one who broke it off. I couldn’t get him to love me the way I needed or even respect me enough. It’s been 6 weeks of not seeing each other. We messaged this week. He doesn’t get it…. His messages show he still doesn’t know what he wants. Yet, if I am totally honest, I hate how part of me wishes he would do a grand gesture/finally decide to be a better man. It’s delusional. What advice would you like to give to the younger generation who are single/about to get married?

Any tips for organizing a bedroom, closet, dresser & bathroom? My teen has IADHD, and low executive functioning. Her room looks like a land mine. Clean clothes are mixed in with dirty, her desk is a disaster, she won’t let go of clothes she’s outgrown, drawers are open with clothes hanging out. A therapist said to close her door if we don’t want to see it but it’s more than that. She needs this important life skill & I don’t know how to help. Easier to organize w/o her but that’s not a solution.

How do I figure out spending with my SO? Initially I was paying for 90% of stuff (no actual bills, just going out). I talked to her and said we need to be more even. She was never proactive. She kind of got offended but we ended on a good note to split things. It went well for a couple weeks but now it's back to normal. I'm a Canadian on the TN visa working in the US and planning on maxing my Roth IRA (6k) and will have enough left to max my 401k this year, but am not sure if I should just use a taxable account over 401k due to tax considerations when I move back to Canada (likely 1-2 years from now). Any thoughts here? I don't think I'll have enough RRSP room to move 401k>IRA>RRSP and I would prefer to not have to file US taxes every year in retirement for withdrawls if I left the 401k in the US.
