Put 6 months of expenses in an emergency savings account. With the rest look through the above comments
1. Why so much in checking
2. If 1 is because it’s an emergency fund, then move it to a high yield savings account like Ally or Marcus
3. When do you need this “investment” money by? If it’s not until retirement then see 4 if it’s earlier see 6
4. Contribute to your 401k up until your companies max which they match
5. Max our your Roth IRA
6. Open a vanguard or fidelity account and start a 3 fund portfolio
