I am thinking to join company for 15.5. I feel this bubble is going to explode one day and high salaried employees will be targeted.
Should I try more or join this company where I can learn more.

Hello! Has anyone ever built a campus recruiting structure for a company? Meaning they started from scratch and built out campus recruitment? What was the pros and cons? Also, what was your salary, how long did you stay there and did you enjoy building this out?

I was just laid off from a fintech startup after 4.5 months as their first ever IP attorney. Anyone have any leads on other IP roles. I’m soft IP/marketing focused but also have patent experience.

I wish I wasn’t adaptable. Humans aspire for a greater level of comfort and once achieved, adopt that as their new baseline. Because of this, somebody making $100k cannot simply comfortably revert back to a $50k lifestyle. The slow growth of personal wealth isn’t noticed as ideated. Instead, we are never satisfied.

Can you relate? Has your salary / net worth growth dramatically improved your quality of life?

Who gets to decide the ctc offered to a candidate? If a candidate is being offered x3 his/her current salary then does it give their manager the licence to overutilize the candidate with insane work? The way I see it there's no real benefit for the candidate here considering the performance pressure on him/her.

I have worked at accenture and then deloitte in consulting domain in project management roles. Observed that in both orgs bulk of the assignments are project management related. Is this the norm in our consulting domain? Are engagements eg process optimization, business process design etc hard yo come by and if so how best to qualify for these roles instead of getting pushed in project management roles???
