Hi, Is Trading & Investing in stocks banned for software engineers in JP Morgan? What about Mutual Funds, are they restricted/monitored ? Can we trade in Futures & Options ? If not equity stocks, can we trade in commodity exchange? Or maybe Forex exchange? Or Cryptos? Just want to know the boundaries of trading & investment and work accordingly! What are your experiences?

Thoughts on GILD for a medium term hold?
Recently had Flighty recommended to me on the App store. I've used it the last couple of flights for clients and the updates have been a huge time saver. It can also map out all the flights you've ever taken. Pretty cool seeing how many miles I've done across all airlines. Also kind of sad to see how many DAYS I've spent stuck on a plane flying to a client site.
Definitely recommend checking it out: www.flightyapp.com/

Is your friend an insurance salesperson? What do you mean 529 counts as income? It doesn’t. IUL is bad idea because the commission and fees are terrible. Tell your friend to pound sand
I would politely decline

Bad idea. Any type of life insurance other than pure Term insurance should be avoided. 529 does not count as income...it counts as parental asset and included at 5.64% available to pay for kids college just like any other asset. If you make anything above 130-140, forget about getting need based scholarship so this is moot
Thank you very much!
LOL my guess is that your friend is either (a) an insurance salesman disguised as a financial advisor or (b) was tricked by a financial advisor into thinking IUL is a good investment (nice commission for the FA there!)
IUL and whole life are the absolute worst "investment" vehicles out there. Nobody financially savvy will buy them unless they have a net worth of 10M+ and have significant assets to protect. Otherwise, the only people buying it are those who were tricked into doing so by their "financial advisor." 99% of people are better off with term life and investing in IRA/HSA/401K/brokerage.
Yes, she does sell them. Therein lies the main problem.
Say no thanks, please drop it, and find out if she’s your friend.
