However, LinkedIn messages have failed to successfully get me an interview to talk with someone from this field. Jr. Associate at an AmLaw 100 firm in Central Florida. Good credentials; top 10% at T14, law review. Sick of private practice bc of hours and pressure. Also, not enjoying the work that Central Florida offers, but want to live here.

I want to one day have my own firm. Trying to think outside the box on how to get the experience w/o being in big law for ten years.

Thinking of applying to be an ASA and to the FL AGO. Would like trial experience or civil rights/con law work.

Which do you use (if any estate planning) and why? Recently talked with a layer on getting a will and they are trying to steer me to a trust.

Do you consider it ethical that his career counselor is intentially spreading the information to his colleagues and to other consultants from other companies in the project? What can he do about it? Specially that he considers the potential layoff is purely based on the current situation (chargeability was low) and not on his performance (they said that his contribution to BD during his bench time was low)?

If you have a standing desk- is it worth it to spend ~$1000 on an Uplift type desk if you can afford it? Are they a lot better than $150 desks you can get on Amazon?
