I have received an offer from Candescent company for Contractual payroll.

They are saying it will be 6 months of contract payroll, after that Candescent will take the employee to permanent payroll. Is that true?

They also mentioned during contract payroll, there will not be any PF, TDS deductions and no paid holidays. May I know does it impact my carrier going forward in future?

I’ve been working for my State Farm agency as a team member for 2 years. I am licensed in property and casualty as well as life and health, but only make $13 an hour. I technically can make bonuses but I’m not supposed to dig into a sale and I have to send it to a sales rep (I am service and retention mostly). My boss also has me running a retired agents office until a new one is chosen (its an hour away with no pay increase or mileage pay). Also, no benefits! Should I start job searching?

Hey guys, so I have competing offers. One at Bank of America for 124, and one at Allspring for 110.

Does anybody work at Allspring? They did not provide any information regarding benefits, 401k match, or any annual bonus structure. I was told, verbally, that the Bank of America bonus is something like 15 to 20%, but nothing in writing.

I’ve worked at places that all have different holiday policies. EA has at minimum a nice 10 day shutdown from Christmas Eve through New Years. It’s great to know that there will be no slack messages or an exploded inbox to come back to while away. I’ve been at other studios that only give you Christmas Eve & Day and New Years Eve & Day and then the rest is up to you to request for PTO and this is obviously the suck.
