This is 5th post I am seeing from TCS employee with same scenario and promised Canada onsite 😅
Apparently there are more Canadian citizen in Tcs than in canada itself. Even I got few hits before I was leaving Tcs couple months back
This "gentleman" or "bhagwan" called ONSITE appears (prakats) only when one puts paper. Pehle kabhi nahi dikhte. But mind you, in most cases, sirf prakat hote hai, aur thullu milta hai.!!

Even after they intiate , it takes 6 to 8 months..
Be mentally prepared
Oh no. Trap 8 yoe . What was tcs doing before u resigned. Taken for granted. Teach them a lesson before u come out.
That’s a tough decision. I will suggest don’t wait for Canada on-site. Switch now and make your own way to immigrate to Canada. There are tons of video on YouTube that explains the process.
Don't revoke your resignation now. Let things go on in TCS. Let your manager know that if everything goes on track as expected then I can revoke it even in last week or last day. You can't be 100% sure that they will process.
You should try to find out why everyone who have resigned are being offered "Canada" onsite... there must be reason for that. rest you can figure.
Ever heard of carrot n stick approach? This is the 🥕. Same happened with one senior of mine, he revoked resignation for onsite. And they made a fool out of him. Ultimately after 6 months he left to join some other org. Got onsite from there.
Switch is necessary.. tcs will maximum provide you Retention bonus and wings2 bonus.. that will not able to match your offer.. and those allowances are not permanent. Like retention bonus will get remove if you change your project and wings2 will get removed if you get c band.. so go for fix salary.. don't believe on onsite. Whatever you will earn when at onsite. You can earn even more amount with only switch..

Travel in 4 -20 weeks.. ? its taking a min of 6-8 months for a PR processing for canada as of now .. talk to a attorney and find about timelines. Dont trust made up promises
Ask them to pay 6 months of Canada salary and then only you trust.
Employee gets recognised immediately all of sudden post resignation.
And they get recognized only at last few days of their notice peroid 😛
The only reason I'm thinking is I have and offer with cognizant and not many are suggesting to go for it. Infy is providing very less CTC compared to cognizant
Bhai cognizant join kar lo, thode din baad switch kar lena. Fir mauka pata nahi milega k nahi CTC badhane ka 🙂
I will suggest to switch increase your skills and CTC and in the way if you are getting onsite opportunities then well grab it otherwise repeat the cycle but this time don't wait for miracles like you did for 8 years.
