Does anyone know of where to find remote part time work opportunities for older Indian women? My mom was a part-time after school teacher but has not been doing that due to covid (dad is high risk). I’m having her do some online typing lessons to get her to be a faster typer, maybe find her a data entry gig. She does not want to do nanny’ing / babysitting. She’s a great teacher though and she’s trilingual (Telugu, hindi) - anyone know of where to find opportunities?

Real talk 2: if you decide to have children, it’s entirely possible you will not like the child at first (or at various points). It’s a huge decision, and having complex feelings about the matter is completely valid

Could use some structural layout help for a deliverable: Creating a one-page report that reflects a product offering, its benefits, and its significance (the ‘so what’) - currently only having multiple bullet points for each as the content, but think it’s not suitable aesthetically for a presentation. Any suggestions for how I should best format it for exec management? This isn’t a PPT.
If a company matches 50% of 401k contributions to 6% of salary, does that mean they’ll put in 6% if I put in 12% or will they put in max of 3% on my 6% contribution? Curious what their wording means
My mat leave ends next month and I am absolutely dreading it. I’m fortunate that my baby is easy going and sleeping well so my time with her has been great. I’ve been getting bad anxiety thinking about returning to work. I’ve seen women post about how they couldn’t wait to go back to work so I feel strange that I’m not like that. Anyone else been through this?

For those who went to strategy roles at late stage start ups/FAANG - how negotiable are the salary ranges for different geographies? a lot of recruiters are saying I’ll get a lower salary if i stay in texas vs. if i lived in SF. Are they trying to have more negotiating power or is this an actual legal thing / hard and fast rule which I’ll need to accept? I.e., is it possible for me to negotiate myself into a salary which is on the high end of the range for an SF employee while staying in texas?
Does ZS update new hires when background check is complete? I submitted mine 12 days ago and haven't heard back about it. But my signing bonus was processed and my start date is in less than 2 weeks and I need to update my employer... what do I do?

Have an offer that pays ~$350-450k a year, but is very bonus heavy and about 25% of that or more will be restricted stock and options. Making ~$350k now all cash. And the way it’s structured, in the first year I’ll end up being ~$50k short for the year of where I would be if I stayed. Also requires a big move to a location I’m not too keen on. WLB is better, probably 50 hours a week but need to be plugged in 100% of the time. Any considerations I haven’t really thought about? What should I ask?
Usually is the US salary transferred to Husband and Wife’s joint account or do we have the option to get the money into our individual account?

Random, but has anyone ever had a doctors office add a credit card processing fee to your co-pay? I’m not even sure this is legal. I told him I should not have a processing fee because I’m using a flexible spending card not a credit card and they just said no. I have been going to doctors for years and had the same co-pay all the time I think this office is just trying to fleece me
