2 weeks of parental leave (paid) after that your accumulated PTO
I can go to total of (including non paid leaves) upto 24 weeks of leave
This is the parental leave policy in USDC
PS - check with ur recruiter if u r going in PDM model by any chance
If yes PLEASE DONT accept the offer
PDM is a sweet word for contractual position here. Life is HELL in PDM
Ask your recruiter. I came out of usdc and do not remember maternity leave policy. But I do remember people using it and not complaining a lot about leave policies which usdc has to offer.
Apparently people over this bowl hates usdc but it’s not that bad if your priorities are different. If you want less working hours and tech experience then usdc is good. Definitely pay is less compared to consulting model because these roles are not client facing.
Also, you would highly work with consulting folks and thats where the hate for usdc starts growing by knowing that there is discrepancy in pay. People chasing pay are definitely hating it and start budging consulting directors for transfer 🤣

Deloitte is a limited liability company nowadays?

Ah, I see the original post was updated appropriately. 😉
Usdc works very differently. Please ask for more details. They should have told you this upfront
Do not hesitate to ask your recruiter.
IIRC, USDC/PDM have a significantly less paid time off compared to other tracks.
And some seniors will refuse to approve your pto. And ridicule you in front of others if you take “emergency” time off 😉
The maternity leave at usdc is much worse than regular Deloitte consulting (core). Please discuss with them and ask for details. From what I heard it was not worth it. In general you will get paid less and benefits are also different so be mindful of that.
For USDC I think maternity leave is 2 weeks. Regular Deloitte core is 16 weeks
