How do you all deal with the guilt of leaving a comany/ team? I have been working at Microsoft for 1 year now, and seriously considering moving. I find the code base to be very legacy and I mostly work on obscure bugs that I spend so much time on, mostly due to navigating this large code base and not having much docs to refer to. Hence I find the job slightly unsatisfying, and that I could learn more elsewhere. However, I love the wlb, the team and company culture. The guilt stops my applying.
Hi all! I’m looking to connect with folks who either work at Coinbase or have interviewed recently for the Business Operations and Strategy Manager or similar role. I am looking to schedule my first interview which I believe is a consulting style case. So any details you can provide, I am all ears. The next interview will be a presentation. Again if you have any experience/advice on this, I’m ready to listen.
Thanks in advance! Help me escape Deloitte pleaseeee. I want this job sooo much!
How to tackle gap periods in IT interviews?
I had an interview with Cognizant and then got an email from HR to fill in CIS form and also along with to send all the documents. After i send all those details i got an email saying the position went on hold and to wait until they revert.
Any idea that how much time it would take for the position to be released? They did not respond when i asked the same question.

Hi Fishes
I would like to know about the client interviews (especially in data science or machine learning roles).
Are these interviews tough?
Are these interviews meant to assess technical knowledge? For example, what is binomial distribution, what are different data structures in python, ml algorithms etc.
I would request each of the nagarrians to share their thoughts irrespective of the technologies you are working.
I am thankful to you for taking time and helping me out.
Nagarro

The best book for anyone in Account Management at any level is Ogilvy on Advertising written by the legendary icon David Ogilvy. I got it back in the mid-80’s and read excerpts on a regular basis.

What made an impression on you?
What kind of questions impressed you?
Really, I think the most instructive is watching people who you think are good and figuring out what they do differently. Ask them questions.
If this person gets hired I definitely want to stay close to them
I really like Chris Do. He has a ton of useful “creative” type stuff on YouTube. Not all of it is “account” related but it definitely helps you understand the business as a whole a bit better.
It may also be helpful to review your OWN accomplishments, for two big reasons:
1 - you may not be giving yourself enough credit for the great work you’re already doing!
2 - it’ll help you set new goals in areas you feel are sparse.
I also agree with the people above me on finding people who inspire you and asking them for help - even if it’s not in the account department.
