I just recently moved to the intelligent automation practice within my firm and really enjoy the topic of intelligent automation but I do not see many exit opportunities or long term career paths. Would this be a good field to stay in long term? Any career paths that I can pivot to where the topics/skills will transfer over? I would love hear any input from others and what your two cents are in this topic. Thanks!

Kind souls of Google,
Would you be kind enough to refer me to a role at Google!
Came across a role that's a good fit.
Would ideally like to target it through a referral and not by applying through the career site.
Would also love to maybe take you for a meal or alike to thank you for it.

Are you in consulting?
If that's the case, I'd move to UIPath or BluePrism as an Advisor, Product Manager, or in Strategy & Operations (I know these three options look very different but, with the right consulting experience + prep, they can be potential exits).
This would be a great stepping stone for a career in tech, as you can then move to another non-automation-focused tech company (for instance, moving from PM at UiPath to PM at Amazon).

You're welcome, SA. I am in a similar situation in Cloud, and am also looking at these exit opps
You can move into any company or role that makes, sells or implements intelligent automation or related services (e.g. consulting). I assume you have a slide somewhere with a variety of intelligent automation providers. Going there to help them sell, market or implement their wares is your clearest set of exit opps.
