I went from high school JROTC, to college ROTC, to officer. You gata start somewhere!

No. I started right after landing my first job. I realized that a corporate job is not really meant for me. That's when I decided to switch careers.

Wow! I admire you for realizing and following your dreams early on. I realized mine a little too late.

Hi Fishes,
I have been working with Walmart for the past 14 months and have recently got an offer from Blackrock for 45 LPA.
Considering the recession and US market scenario, help me understand if it will be a good move to join BlackRock OR should I continue with Walmart with the current compensation.

PS. I am not happy with growth prospects in the current project in Walmart.

Role : Data Scientist
YOE : 11
C CTC :35 LPA

Hi there! I work for a tech start-up and I've been tasked with revisiting their compensation philosophy and propose a better structure. I think this will also require me to revisit job titles, existing talent and tenure, performance, career paths, and the organizational structure. Any useful tips as I tackle this big undertaking?

I, like most people, fell into it and didn't realise it existed until I was working in it. Came upon through a personal connection I made while I was studying, started as data entry part time and voila, ended up coming back as a researcher.

Is this a dead lock? firms exp matters much more than a CPA license?
