Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.

Well, where are you now?

Anything is better than staff aug and even though people like to clown on IT audit (myself included) it’s still a great springboard for future endeavors. I wouldnt be where I am now if I didn’t get my second job after starting in IT audit.
Take it and run with it. You’ll learn a lot and you’ll decide for yourself after a couple years where you want to go but at least you’ll have options at that point
Cyber security is a bunch of controls to mitigate risk. They’re just super technical controls. IT audit taught me the language of risk and controls
I can’t speak on Staff Aug, but I’m a staff in IT risk rn and tbh I’m not exactly sure it’s been helpful in setting me up for exit ops. Feels like I’m pigeonholing myself into a specialization i don’t want
