I know I’ll get mixed answers, but I need some advice. I have a network where I could possibly (keyword possibly) move into IT Risk Assurance. I’m currently on a long term Staff Aug project that I don’t think is adding any value to my development. I know IT Risk Assurance gets a bad rep, but I think it’ll help me better develop as opposed to the Staff Aug project I’m on. Please give me some advice on what I should expect (pros and cons) as well as exit ops.

What does an exit from Salesforce consulting look like? I’m in a technical role leading a small team so my understanding is a technical/solution architect or a development team lead at either Salesforce or an end user like Amazon/Amex.

I have bounced around a couple consulting companies so would prefer not to do it again. Total 4 YOE.

I don’t think I have enough YOE to go for a program architect role at SF otherwise I’d be interested.
