I know it sounds entitled, but Delta REALLY needs to add an extra boarding class to split Platinum from Gold medallion members.

It does sound entitled

Problem is a lot of people have a credit card that gives them gold status. That should be a different tier; don't mix up frequent flyers with tourists is the key.

like

@PW3: oh, so you're of them? Ever though about NOT cutting the line (because that's what you're doing).

like

Are there people who are Gold? Thought everybody was Diamond or Platinum?

like

American just split across all classes and enforcing it. Finally exec plat@can get bag in place.

like

I don't even fly Delta more than once a year and I still want as much forced hierarchy as possible. F the Gold's

like

Make diamond and board with first, you pleb

like

Not exactly a caste system but you should get what you've paid for/committed time to

like

Platinum and Gold both get SKY boarding..even tho Platinum requires 40 more segments than Gold.

like

PREM and SKY take up all the overhead space on this flight to LAX. Everybody has status. It's a joke.

like

Agreed D2. Massive first world problem.

like

No Diamond, no care.

like

What CC gives SKY priority tho? I know delta cards give zone 1, not SKY.

like

Ah good call OP I thought Delta Amex got gold but it's just zone one.

like

A3, AA does not enforce boarding at all. I'm a group 6 that always boards with zone 2 or 3. I also board with Sky on Delta even though I'm only zone 1. The only airline I've ever seen enforce boarding groups is Southwest.

like

Completely agree

I'm only Gold, but I switched to Delta in September last year. Doing the PwC accelerated status deal this year so will be Platinum easy.

Worse. Delta doesn't even enforce the current zones. I see Zone 1 and 2 boarding with me all the time.

And put zone 1 in the general boarding lane!!

Sorry to break the news OP but you are a small fish with your platinum status

Are Uber/Lyft drivers reluctant to drive from DC (Logan) to BWI?

Lyft driver delayed picking me up 30 min, resulting in me canceling my ride and asking hotel to call me a “yellow taxi” to get to the airport because it was 5am and all ubers/lyfts were 15 min. Specifically said yellow. Hotel calls me a private lux SUV and the driver got out of the car to handshake the man who called and said hi (honestly money couldve been passed). I then get hit with a $180 ride. Marriott website says taxi should be $65. Should I complain or let it go?
