Has anyone else begun to resent data science?
Got messaged by a C3 . ai recruiter. Read that wlb is bad and that the interview process is absurdly long, but the Glassdoor reviews are 4.2 and can't find actual hours worked posted by anyone. How's the culture really? I'd be aiming for DS consulting, something more functional but with DS/ML concepts as my differentiator.

Shameless plug:
We've been Microsoft's Power BI partner of the year multiple times and we have programs built to train your people. We can do customized training around your datasets or bring sample generic data to you. Send me a message if you're interested, and I'd be happy to talk through some options with you and your team.
YouTube? Google?
It’s how I’ve learned almost every single thing I know in my career.
And I can do it just as good as this guy ^
Check out Maven Analytics. They do a really good job of showcasing the potential of BI tools on LinkedIn and they have multiple training programs to choose from.
Udemy is good for long applied classes. Courses cost like $15 on sale, and they're pretty much all on a forever sale. Probably more depth than you'll get with live coaching, too
Hands down - Maven Analytics
Not sure if this would be of use to you, but I run a Data Advisory practice and one of our offerings is a targeted Data Literacy Assessment and Training program.
DM me if you're interested. Details would depend on what the user personas are and what the ideal outcomes would look like.
Microsoft has courses on their site that trains for the certification exams. I think they also have referrals for live training as well.
I would say get them a Usenet for self paced learning or coordinate for a Microsoft certification training if you’re willing to dedicate the hours
Why pay an outside party that doesn’t know your business to teach your people to improve and grow? If you are a manager of these associates, lead them as one. Your job includes identifying the talent gaps and growing the opportunities for any high performing direct reports. Learn what you need to to lead them. You’re only as good as the people you lead and work for you. Take your own action and do it yourself. It will be better than any course or cost to your business. You’ll grow too…
Isn’t being a good leader making sure that your people are provided with the best possible training, even if that requires an outside resource?
I know an excellent course, I'm taking it, but it's in Portuguese.
Which course is it?
Hire me as an intern to coach your employees about Power BI. I have worked on advanced level of Power BI like SSAS (SQL SERVER ANALYSIS SERVICES) and Report Designer BI while learning everything on my own. The advantage of SSAS is that the updation of data is automated while connecting it to servers which track the data. Unless the serves has database updation or server issues, the process should work fine.
If you like my work we may continue to work together.
Thanks in advance,
