Did EY provide feedback on why you didn’t get through? If not, ask for feedback so you know what went wrong.

I know it's tough (from personal experience). But you can't give up. Keep trying and you'll eventually get what you work for.
I have 4 years of private that I attained while going to school. Once I graduated and went for public, every single firm that I applied for scratched that off and would only offer internship or low salary entry level. That was obviously not what I wanted to hear. It took a while but I eventually found a firm that valued my past experience.
Hang in there and keep trying. Timing and dedication.
Don't think it that way!! I think maybe just you did not answer what they want to hear during interviews...I know some high ranked corporations are really looking for people who have their CPA, so if big 4 closes the door, you can try those pretigous companies
I have a friend who is very smart, but she had to move to another state to get a spot in Big 4 because after passing CPA, she cant find a job in public accounting in any firm.
Public accounting is great for new college grads who never worked to use as a stepping stone for their future career as an accountant, but you're already an accountant!
You need to beef up your linkedin & reach out to recruiters via that, recruiters scramble to get ppl into PA. I can actually send u the linkedin profiles of a few that I know are looking for public ppl & the direct name & number of one.
To be honest your situation is about timing, you’ll have to wait after summer to get hired, which is typical for the PA
What did you do previously?
Yes, I applied for all audit positions available, both associate and seniors
What city are you in?
Pro
Wait until after summer when firms realize they don’t have enough staff for all this work.
When did you apply to GT? Are you interested in public sector work?
