Disney Streaming Services I completed my interview process with DSS early last week, and was reached out by recruiter that all rounds were strong hires, and they are extending an offer. We set a time to talk on Friday about the offer. However, the announcement of targeted hiring freeze happened on Friday. I was ghosted with no call. What should I expect now? Would I still have chance to be offered?

It’s a real number. In fairness, probably half of those are meeting invitation time changes.

Yes, reasonable.
For a partner only 10-20% of those require a response, the rest are an FYI.
That’s still 50-100 emails they respond to per day, which is why you get short and often nonsensical responses from partners.
You have to learn how to write to busy people. For senior industry leaders the numbers are often similar. To get a response you need to have the ask be clear and up front and in the first or second line of the email.
Nah EYP posts are A tier overall imo
Actionable vs informational. That’s how you manage them.
I had a former Soviet republic officer (Uzbek) friend who used to have three categories of mail. Those that were at the top of the list would be done that day and actionable. Those in the second bucket could be done at end of week. The third basket would fill up. Then, when new mail came, they would throw all of the third basket away, then put more mail in it.
It is true unfortunately, I get over 300 most days as well but it is not like I respond to them. Most are just bs notifications and meeting updates. I probably write around 20 emails back a day
I use rules to filter emails to certain places and set them by importance so I can not get overwhelmed by it.

My worst day was over 800 emails.
I've got a very robust set of Outlook rules and folders so the email volume is quite manageable. On any given day, I typically have between 25-50 emails that I need to respond to or are otherwise actionable.

Here are a few of my main ones.
-I do a ton of keyword filters. I have my teams put "For review" in the subject of anything they need me to take a look at, so I have that filter and folder set up.
-I set up filters based on the personnel on my teams and filter into various folders based on who the email is from and whether I'm on the To, CC, or BCC line.
-I also have my teams put FYSA in subject lines for things that do not require action and are just for general situational awareness, or at least don't require immediate action, and filter accordingly.
-I have filters set up for various domain names so I can sort client, firm, and external emails. For client ones I'll also add in keyword and sender/recipient filtering.
-I sort all calendar invites into folders based on sender/recipient info.
The numbers are real. I agree with what the EM said, not all emails are actionable.
