I get it. I'm fighting through that post-holiday malaise right now myself. I'm hoping a pot of coffee and knocking out some mindless busy work will snap me out of it.
Days have felt made up lately, everything is out of order. Slightly looking forward to next week, just to get everything back to normal. Had a lot of nice time off, and while I’d love to have some more, feeling ok with just looking forward to our spring vacation we are planning to take!
Having Christmas and New Year's fall on Wednesdays this time around was just a weird feeling. The holidays were kind of like islands in the middle of the week and that created these weird days surrounding them. Take them off? Work on them? Who knows? Today felt weird and I assume tomorrow will too. Having an ordinary week again will almost be refreshing.
I hear you I was feeling blur all day New Year’s Day filling it was Sunday just tired and exhausted and I didn’t even celebrate New Year’s Eve. I stayed home. I didn’t have anything to drink so I didn’t have any excuse to feel so icky Wednesday so like I think I get what you were feeling.
Hahah Op those last two weeks of the year I think we all lose track of what day it is. Even my boss came in and had to ask us what day it was because she literally could not remember.
