Hi there. Ex Deloitte Sr Mgr here, currently in tech pre sales (SaaS / MarTech). Recently spoke to both Salesforce and Adobe recruiters for roles that I thought were lateral moves (Sr SA / Sr SC), therefore I did not proceed with the selection process. The recruiters from both companies told me they typically hire at that level, and people are considered for promotion to Principal in 1 to 2 years. I found that odd. Is that right? What’s the typical TC for SAs and SCs there? (15+ yrs exp).

OP - great line about the Brinks truck. Never heard that used like that before. Good luck getting the big payout.
I think everyone is forgetting to ask the important question here... what line of service OP? If it is an advisory/consulting line then 82% is really good.
Unbelivable but I'm really impressed. People don't get 4s with 100% utilization and 5 or 4s on reviews.
But 82 is too low. I eat hours , took 120 hours of vacation time plus holidays plus on bench for a month and still had 90% in June
Lol audit utilization is always funny.
He was kidding...
Audit Senior 1 in the Southeast
Man I want 15% raise for senior promotion in NYC tax but i have a feeling I'll only be getting 10-11% with a 4 rating 😭😭😭😭😭😭🔫🔫🔫🔫🔫
It depends on the group/region. I'm in indirect tax specialized group so that's why
What's the util calc? Think my firm does it differently 🤔
82% is for chumps
82% is way low for audit. Most staff and seniors in my office were close to or over 100. I hit 100 FOR THE YEAR mid April (our FYE is 7/31).
Utilization at DT is client service hours (CSH) / CSH goals. Even if I charge my admin time, my utilization doesn't change. They might start asking questions if I rack up a ton of admin time and my CSH are low, but otherwise it doesn't really matter.
Have a 126% and come talk to me. The only truck they'll bring to the table is a tonka truck that they will give you as a bonus
Depending on what office in the southeast, that's actually good, especially if you're being "budget conscious".
You think that's a sacrifice? Boy do you have a lot to learn about life. Praying you're trolling or the reality freight train is going to hurt when you get hit.
I'm torn I'm a Manager got a 5 this year and my Senior 3 year and it was my lowest utilization years. Note it was still above 95%. So for me it all depends. I did more impactful things these years than any other times. High utilization only makes you a 4 or 5 in one pillar to be honest
lol y'all realize OP is trolling right?
UPDATE: I misunderstood my rating. After all the negative comments, I reached out to my counselor. I actually received a 2 rating, but my counselor said I was getting paid like a 5 since we are on 10 degrees now. Please don't be mean, everyone on fb can be so rude and negative sometimes 😒smh.
What is up with the obvious trolling?
OP, you are legit trolling or misunderstanding your rating, cause this year it was basically equivalent rating from a 1-5. So it was either a 2 or a 5. Unless im missing something, your comment on getting paid as a 5 doesn't make sense.
But, 10 degrees is a different review program
