Advice on taking and passing the SPHR exam?
Microsoft is hiring an account executive and I’m really interested in the role. I have B2B sales experience in a different industry, but my skills include lead generation, prospecting, account management, negotiating, etc (all within the C Suite and other decision makers).
Would appreciate knowing if this is something I have a shot at with no tech sales experience and what I could expect for promotional opportunities and compensation.
Thanks for the help!

I would look on Linkedin or Indeed.
Yeah you'll definitely need a LinkedIn profile (you should have one anyway for your job search!). LinkedIn also allows you to set alerts for job openings of things you're interested in. So it's a good way to stay on top of what's available.
You will first have to get some writing experience. Take some writing courses or take some workshops. That would be the first step because you need a portfolio
I recently got into veterinary technical writing after doing some research and networking. I found out about some job openings through a veterinarian friend of mine who knew of a position that was perfect for me. It was a great opportunity and I'm glad I was able to pursue it. There are plenty of job boards and social media platforms that specialize in veterinary-related positions, so it's worth checking those out if you're interested in getting into this field.
