This has “ghost job/scam” written all over it.
Never put off opportunities without a signed agreement or contract. Especially in this current market.
Anywhere telling you to “focus on this opportunity instead of others” is a BIG 🚩!!
Don’t let anyone tell you what to do, much less if they’re not employing or paying you.
Even if the job is legit, why turn down another job while you’re waiting for this to come through? It might never happen and if it does you have even more leverage for more money if you have a job already.
Did you follow up with the people who actually interviewed you? Next time don’t give up an opportunity when a company hasn’t gotten back to you about another. An offer isn’t real until it’s in writing and signed.
What company is this, their email has an undertone of scam
Take the first job you’re offered. If that agency really wants you, don’t make you a better offer and you can quit the job you accepted at that time. Put yourself first I’ve never seen an industry that puts itself first more than advertising agency recruiters.
Getting a job is like finding an apt. Until that contract is signed, you keep looking. If it's not on paper it doesn't count. Trust no one.
