Which one to choose between Optum and Tiger Analytics for Data Scientist position? Where can I expect better data science domain expertise (In my previous companies I found very less understanding of Data Science practices as team)? Heared good things about both of these. Have 6-8 stories prepared using the S-T-A-R method and you'll be good to go
Make stuff up if you need to and remember your stories don’t need to be job/role related.
YouTube has some great videos to practice interviewing as well.

If you think of an interview as a conversation with a person/people, would it still make you nervous?
They are not there to interrogate you to find faults, they are there to see if your skills will be suitable for their team/culture to solve whatever business problems they have.
You are there to persuade them that yes, you can do whatever they’ll need you to do within the scope, and you are there ALSO to ask THEM questions to make sure THEY are a good fit FOR YOU and your needs.
You can take charge and actually lead the conversation by asking a simple question:
What are the challenges this executive/team are facing and how can this role (the one you’re interviewing for) can help in this particular area? What would you expect from me in this role?
Listen carefully to what they say, make notes if you need to, and build on some of the points they have mentioned by providing examples how you solved a similar problem. This alone will make you stand out from the crowd; people value active listening skills.
That’s what behavioral questions are all about: they want to see how you’ll behave in a particular situation. When you take charge of the conversation, two things happen:
1) your focus moves from “I don’t want to appear fake” to “how would I actually solve this problem they are talking about” (since you’re not distracted by thinking of being fake, you’ll actually come across as an authentic thoughtful person)
2) they’ll get a better idea of you and appreciate your thoughtfulness/attention because you made this interview easy for them. They now don’t need to ask you random behavioral questions “how would you solve a [hypothetic] problem?” “How do you handle yourself in fast-paced environments?”
You may of course prepare answers to these generic behavioral questions, but they will be most likely detached from their reality.
And your answers might appear “canned” which is probably what’s causing your anxiety of appearing fake.
They are human — these people who interview you :) — find a way to connect with them as a human to human, not interviewer vs candidate.
