Made lemongrass chicken today. Yumm!

Hi Fishers, I have accepted Walmart offer and my BGV has started 3 weeks ago. How do I check my BGV status? I will be joining in mid May. Also, I have been hiding one of the company where I had worked for 45 days and then absconded due to personal issues. Would it create any trouble? They had created my PF account though. Any help would be highly appreciated

Looking for a position in Las vegas !?
Hi all, does anyone know of any recruiters or hiring managers that work in Affirm Inc. I've been applying for a couple of jobs with them . The role I have applied for I know lam a extraordinary fit for
100% and can help the company/ department succeed. I have a good deal of experience with this role and would love to talk to a recruiter or a hiring manager more about this. If anyone
could reach out to me if you have any information on that I would greatly appreciate it.

I fell into it by accident- I was working in film production, had a great job, and there was a strike, so everyone was out of work. I had a mortgage, a friend said my boyfriend needs an assistant , and you two would get along great, which we did. Five years later I got an offer from someone else for more money, and it just ballooned from there. I realized that good assistants are hard to come by, you’re the grease in the wheels, and I was really good at it.
Yea totally agree. There is 100% a difference between an entry-level assistant vs someone with 10+ years experience. Yet the titles are often the same, and don’t reflect the individual’s capabilities, or compensate them fairly!! I’d like to see an administrative business partner type of role for an experienced admin.
nope didnt think of being one growing up. i didnt think about it after 6 years of being in the work place. i also felt the same way of how it is viewed by others, some think its a low job. but honestly if you enjoy you can make it and do it well for yourself. look at all the COS' and SR EAs supporting CEOS and high level execs and doing great. others who are not in the field will not understand how assistants make impact
I started just by helping with what skills I had and fell into it, it wasn't a career choice and most people don't notice how much of a difference someone in the position makes.
I have always wanted to be an assistant when I was younger
