Hi all,
Do firms match offers from other Big 4s for campus hires? I’ve received a campus offer from both KPMG and EY. I’m more interested in the EY offer, but they are paying 3k less than KPMG.
Would it be a bad move to let them know about the other offer and try negotiating? I feel it wont make a difference in the long run, but at the same time I don’t want to leave any money on the table if possible.
Thanks!

Simple, you have a “doctors appointment” you need to go to.

How many doctors appointments can someone take in a 3 month period? Hopefully I won't need it but what about if I need 5-10 interviews before landing a new role
Ask the interviewer if they can do early morning, lunch, or after 5 PM, at least for the early rounds or screening calls. Most companies interviewing employed candidates understand the logistics and will accommodate. For later or final rounds, just make up a doctor's appointment or take a PTO day. Shouldn't be a big deal then either, but it's better to avoid asking for special treatment when you're so close to the offer. You don't want to give them any reason to hesitate on extending it to you.

A PTO day for a role that isn't a guarantee feels like a bit of a waste if I don't end up getting the job. I'll see if they can accommodate an early/late interviewing in the future
Migraine, you have a migraine. I also get a migraine when I just so happen to have another interview scheduled. Weird coincidence, that. Good luck at your interview!
Depending on your age and gender, you can make up something that requires frequent doctor visits lol. Or line up the interviews back to back for a week and tell them you got Covid.
I'm thinking "appointment" with no further explanation. It could be for a doctor, lawyer, parole officer, or infertility clinic. None of their business. If need be, offer to make up the time. Or use vacation time. Of course they aren't going to be happy about you searching out other jobs, but they should expect it when people are trying to gain more experience and move up the ladder.
