I worked at B4 in audit for almost 2 years and jumped to a Senior Accountant job that didn’t work out because I had no guidance. I then jumped to a role that isn’t really accounting, I’m the only CPA in my position here. I enjoy it but hate being client facing and feel I’m overqualified and there’s no room for growth. Can someone explain how PTO works in house? I have only ever worked at a firm, starting my first in house position end of this month. I’m used to just blocking off time on my calendar if I have an appointment (like the rare occasion I have a dental appointment, well child checkup, etc) and then going. Do I really need to take PTO for these things? I’ll be working remotely 3-4 days a week for reference and I’m talking about days when I’m remote.
