Hello All, I have been selected in the interview at NTT DATA and also submitted documents as requested by Recruiting HR. However , it's been a 10 days after docs submission but haven't received any call from HR for salary negotiation. On email follow up with HR, he said he is on it and will come back to me soon for further process. Any views.NTT DATA

I always try if I want the job and if they look it great and if not oh well. I say if i didn't at least try how would i know if i didn't try at least?
I think it's worth it to apply especially if you have relevant experience. You have nothing o lose except the 15 minutes it may take to apply. Good luck on your job search.
I've wondered about this too. I haven't even gotten an interview from the ones I don't meet the minimum requirements for, but that's anecdotal.
I think it's worth applying in these cases unless it's a degree that's truly required to do the work (like a JD for a legal role or a masters in education with principal certification to be a school principal).
Also some old school companies will still consider a bachelors a non-negotiable.
Systems don't kick people out of the process. People do. If a system rejects you for not having a degree, it's because a recruiter set it up that way.
But I think degrees, especially advanced ones, are treated like a nice to have by most places. I also know plenty of people who have gotten jobs without the required degree but sometimes had an expectation like say taking classes to complete the degree by X date. And most have agreed then not done it and been fine.
When I sift through resumes, it's a borderline retirement to have the correct education listed. In the case that you don't have the required education level, I'll maybe glance at experience, but its gotta wow me almost right away. Cover letter is the best way to explain why you should be considered without necessary education requirement.
Yes. I think you should always apply even if you don't think that you are qualified you should still apply. There have been so many times I thought I wouldn't get a job and I applied anyway and ended up getting it.
I think you might have better luck getting in touch with hiring managers and recruiters directly. The systems will likely screen you out
I tried this a few times but never got any response from the companies. I gues it really matters. And some companies will definitely skip you over.
I went through a very similar experience where, despite meeting ALL the qualifications and successfully passing ALL interview rounds to receive a job offer, this popular FAANG company rescinded its offer after my background check revealed incomplete education requirements. To make matters worse, the company barred me from applying again for a year, accusing me of dishonesty in my application. Even 3 years later, my applications are automatically denied. It was a painful lesson, one I won’t repeat—unless the requirements clearly include relevant experience.
