Interesting….. what problems are these startups are solving? I do think AI will change how HR does recruiting?
I see them talking about the fact that they make recruiters job easier, by helping in candidate selection, scheduling etc... I think it will change it a lot too, but I'd be interested in knowing recruiters take on this as it is too easy to say "this can be automated" without having the actual context and knowledge of the day to day. For example many companies go out and say the same about software engineering, but I know it is not true.
AI can help with volume and speed, but trust, judgment, and context still sit with humans. Building real relationships, influencing hiring managers, and assessing potential beyond a CV aren’t easily automated. The role will evolve, not disappear.

Beautiful question. I think what can’t (yet) be automated is trust-building—especially in partner-facing or cross-functional roles. Reading the room, managing egos, and adjusting communication based on subtle cues still feels like human terrain. Curious what others see as AI-proof zones?
