PwC A recruiter from PWC reached out to me to ask if I’d consider a different office the one I applied to, since it’s full. It would be Boston, Hartford, Chicago, Minneapolis, Little Rock, Denver, San Francisco or San Jose. MSA candidate. Is there a fully remote option? Do you have to be in the office all the time? Is the compensation high at PWC? Is there a possible moving expenses? Any insight or advice would help me make a decision. Thank you!

I hope you’re open to remote staff. Companies really aren’t that inclusive if they’re only open to people who happen to live where they’re based. Some observations:
-we now know people are more productive working from home
-primarily in-office work favors extroverts and loud mouths, who often times use these abilities to hide their lack of talent while diminishing the voice of others. Inclusion is as mental, if not more, as it is physical
-people benefit from being in proximity to family, or a close network of loved ones. Arbitrary locations favor those who happen to have roots where you’re geographically based
-narrowing in on geography excludes more people than it presents an opportunity to
They’re a staffing company. They staff positions based on what their clients are seeking so it’s not really a matter of whether they’re open to remote working. Good grief.
