How do you deal with annoying people?
Hi guys ,
I am in a US project in Accenture. We have long calls in the night timings. My other teammate has backed out saying she won't attend any calls as she got some medical condition so she won't attend long calls which extend till 9:30.Other teammate is a junior. The managers are expecting me to join all the calls. No help I am getting. And they all being Tamil, I think some partiality is going on between them.Even our onsite lead is of no use.She expects me to attend long calls.
What should I do .pls suggest?

Hi Fishes, I am bit confused to pick the role in KPMG lighthouse as Sr Cloud Data architect or Saama technology as a Project lead. Money wise it is not a big difference. In KPMG I will work with partner where as in saama I will work with project/program manager. Please suggest your opinion. Saama KPMG KPMG India

Send an email to yourself saying “hey [boss’s name]!”
Sorry What does this mean?
I was made aware by someone who got a reply by my boss when they hadn’t emailed my boss
Not super shocking. They need to ensure continuity after you leave.
I expected it a day or two prior to my departure; not a week and a half. Or, if that was needed, then include me in the support ticket so I’m not blindsided when an outside partner calls me to say, “um, I guess your boss is getting your email now, I got their out of office when emailing you.”
I provided a months notice, am meeting weekly with said boss to make sure things are transitioning and completed, and was asked to be a contractor after my departure to wrap up budget planning for next fiscal year.
But you have such minimal trust in me you need to secretly monitor my email? Cool, I get exactly where I stand with them now.
I’m the head of finance in a mid-sized nonprofit; not the CFO of a Fortune 500; so, this lack of empathy feels just gross.
I went from feeling guilty about leaving to elated…which, honestly, just makes me sad.
Don’t send a single email. What’re they gonna do? Fire you?😜
I would send an email stating we need to discuss the email below. Than giggle knowing that direct confrontation makes her uncomfortable and stressed.
