I found so many job postings for various positions in sales at Amazon I have applied to them on LinkedIn. But Amazon never responds to any of my applications. I have 6+ yoe worked with big companies like Nestle, Reckitt and now at Allergan. I am a well seasoned Sales professional. Can someone help me out with the hiring process ?Amazon Amazon India

Yeah you can just leave it off, it's way easier than trying to answer any questions about it. The gap should be small enough that no one would even bring it up, honeslty.
Yeah I think that makes sense. I don't see any problem with that, and I don't think any hiring managers would be upset to find out you left off a job that you were at for less than 2 months.
You never know what might come up in background checks, though. I would not leave off the job. An airtight explanation about the dismissal is all that's needed.
If you leave it off, it doesn't give the interviewer any reason to ask why you were laid off, but if you do include it, it could raise a red flag if the interviewer sees a gap in your employment history.
