What should my requested salary be for a Senior Intelligence Analyst position with CrowdStrike ? I have a bachelors degree and 5 years of experience as an intelligence analyst. Current salary is 56k in NC, but when I was in DC I was making 86k (big locality change)… which makes me confused on what I should expect for a remote job.
Hoping to get in touch with #Peraton recruiter! I have about 9 months left in Air Force where I work in cyber defense and vulnerability management, have a BA in cybersecurity, sitting for CISSP and have lots of certs. Would love to chat with someone about opportunities. Hold a clearance and could technically start in 7 months. Any help is appreciated!! Thank you.

Accounting is a great choice if you’re looking for job security and a clear path forward, but if you’re ‘willing to learn anything,’ maybe look into risk management or supply chain management. Both are growing fields with good crossover potential from federal work.
I would start by pursuing certifications before going all in on a Master's just as a box checking exercise. Even on the cheap end, a masters is going to be expensive and take a couple of years. You can knock out a cert in a month or two for a few hundred bucks.
After a year when you've picked up a few certs, if you still aren't getting interviews, then consider the degree.
Whatever you do, good luck!
