Does anyone here freelance on the side? How do you price yourself? I work in data science and so my w2 pays me $300k so around $150hr when broken down to hourly. Can I reasonably do the same work on the side through freelancing basing the project cost around $300hr? I just want to create an additional income stream since I was growing my real estate business for these past few years and now I’m waiting and saving for future opportunities and I’m bored and would like to increase my cash more.

I freelanced for an agency as an art director for 6 months and recently got hired FT. I am struggling with imposter syndrome on a daily basis but manage to get great feedback from the creative directors continuously but still feel the same way. I was put on a creative brainstorm and my ideas seemed so misaligned with everyone else's but the designs I did the client liked and I think we are moving forward with. I've a question on what sections to put on a regular resume. I see some people are using consulting style resume for outside companies as well. Do you think it's a good idea to devide work experience by projets? Or is it better to have "projects highlights" separate from work experience.. something like: intro>functional expertise> project highlights>work experience>education?

I’ve been on the bench with J1 for about 3 months. I was worried that because I couldn’t find another project, I would get laid off so I found J2, which pays more, is very meeting heavy, but I really like. I’ve kept J1 because I’m still on the bench doing absolutely nothing and getting paid. Thinking about looking for a role on a project with J1 that’s not along my career path but will allow for me to do work with no calls so that I can manage both jobs. Does anyone have experience or advice?

4PQE. UK. Have been offered a job at another firm but they've only agreed to match my salary. I went back asking for more and have been sternly told that's not possible as I'm already being offered more than what their bandings allow.

I got an offer at Nokia, and my new manager said that she wanted to put me in the higher salary bracket however the HR insisted that we lowered the range. Senior engineer making 135k and I was offered a promotion to engineering manager after completing a development plan. Near the end of the plan and I expect compensation talks to start soon.
