Put together a document that clearly details the impact you have had on the company. Are there key pillars or business KPIs that you align to? Lay out your business case for a raise:
1) revenue growth
2) clients you’ve acquired
3) brand awareness, increase in leads, or other impact of your marketing
4) cost savings or efficiencies
5) team retention
6) PR mentions, interviews, speaking opps
Without knowing your salary and the revenue we’re talking, maybe calculate 3-5% of the revenue you’ve driven and share that number as a comparison to a commission. (Although in commission cases the base is usually lower). Maybe even ask that your overall comp structure is changed to a commission model.
Or ask for a 30% raise on your base and hope for 20%. Also ask for a title bump if you are performing at a higher level than the previous lead. Elevate the role entirely.
