Hi All, Please help to chose between cognizant and harman. I got two offer of 26 LPA from cognizant in kolkata location and 28 LPA from harman pune location. In harman project will be with Adobe client. In cognizant, I don't have any idea about project details. My skill is node js, angular js, JavaScript and experience is 7.3 years. I am from kolkata. I’m not sure if you’re looking only in public or not, but I’m in industry - MCOL - $110k. I’d be the equivalent of an S2 if I was still in public. Seems very low as you are HCOL.
Depends on which role you are going. It's definitely more than that if you are going to finance role. Reasonable if you are staying in the accounting industry.
Remember recruiters get paid for placing people not for getting you the best position or salary. My translation - getting you a higher paying position will be harder and more time consuming and won’t generate any extra fees.
They get paid more if a person gets a higher salary
