Has anyone left PwC while they still had an outstanding Educational Support Program repayment agreement? What is the repayment process like? Am I required to pay back the amount in full the day I leave the firm or is there the ability to do a repayment agreement? I’m looking at new opportunities and would like to have my new firm take on the amount of the tuition agreement ($14,000) but don’t know how much that might limit my options.

Echo A1. Moved from 80%+ EPLI at JL to <5% at littler.
The other Big 4 do significantly less EPLI work than JL.
I rarely did EPLI work at littler. Maybe I had 1-3 EPLI cases in my caseload at all times.
I do minimal EPLI at FP. Some people do more. Develop a practice that isn't usually covered by EPLI -- restrictive covenants, W&H, advice, etc.
My experience at OD varies. Some years it’s as little as 5%, some years it’s as high as 25-30%. Never 80% though that sounds miserable.
Then why doesn’t Littler pay significantly more? EPLI rates are like 1/3 my rate now.
JL is the lowest paying Big 4 by far.
Coach
I didn’t have much EPLI at Littler but I did mostly labor, W&H and some other matters that aren’t covered by EPLI.
What year are you? Currently at JL and I would say my cases are like 30% EPLI, 70% non EPLI. It really depends on years out/your office dynamic. But if you’d like to do less EPLI consider adding in some wage and hour cases, joining the class action PG, etc.
You can message me directly if you wanna talk more but I’m a 6th year with only 2.5 years at JL. The best thing to do is bring it up to your OMP at your midyear. But for me I just kept bugging the partner who did wage & hour and bringing it up during my evaluations to get more of that work. And I’m also pretty vocal about the non-litigation work I want to do
