I'm bothered a bit by my inability to sleep well and long enough...
Pre-COVID time I couldn't get to bed early in Sunday evening despite of the early flights on Monday and even given now the COVID WFH I only goes to bed at around 1:30-2:00, which I found too late and makes me very tired on the second day...

I'm struggling to get to bed early...do you guys have any tips about how to sleep early and well? Any apps? Habits? Would be very helpful!

You honestly have to just force yourself. It’ll be miserable for a few weeks but eventually the habit will be there. Especially hard during this time because your body probably isn’t using enough energy to make you exhausted - but maybe add a work out or cut caffeine and see how it affects you. And 100% the key is no phone anywhere near you. If you have your phone to play on, you’ll never get to sleep.

Sleep the same time everyday. Melatonin. Exercise hard

It’s impossible for me to fall asleep as well. I started cutting my caffeine intake after noon, make sure to get my daily workouts in, have a weighted blanket, and listen to softer classical music or the deep sleep playlist on Spotify. I set a 15 min shut off timer so my phone battery doesn’t die! Also I periodically take the OLLY brand sleep gummies, but not often I don’t want to get dependent on it.

Not having caffeine after 12, exercising , not doing random stuff on laptop or phone for a hr b4 sleeping. Also try reading while on bed in a lying position and you will doze off in no time

Pros: 50k bump, company is full remote, no time tracking software, unlimited PTO, 10k in quarterly bonuses, vertical move in responsibility and title, will set me up for future roles in different companies with the title I am looking for (so strategic move)

Cons: Its a startup, the solution they offer is adjacent to my desired industry, its a very small team so I wouldn’t grow my network as much, tech stipend for new laptop (but they don’t provide a work one)
