Hi Fishes, Sometime back I was interviewed for Technical Support Job role in my domain. T1 went well. T2, in my understanding was better only (not great like T1 but not blunder. I felt it was nice and i replied majority of questions). They released the feedback after 10 days with "Not Positive". I am not totally sure with feedback as I replied majority of questions correct. I am being bit curious with "Microsoft" tag. What can be the reason?
Discussion appreciated.

This! Another easy step agencies could take if they actually were committed to this beyond PR statements.

I feel like we all know agencies dont really post open jobs generally. (Especially creative) I always assumed it was because they have to be so “unconventional” in why they hire people.
Even now with the whole idea of “opening it up to more diverse candidates,” it seems tricky because its not like they can say they have open jobs, but only want to hire women and/or non whites... Im not sure what the answer would be, its pretty frustrating any way you slice it.
The EOE that the big agencies put up there is because they have to; landing a job at one of them is based on who you know. Many of these agencies do pull from their pool of former freelancers / fellows / interns however diversity is hard to come by. Perhaps reach out to former employees, especially freelancers, who have worked at the agency in the past for more insight.
It would be even worst, if they post those jobs, you waste your time applying and still give them to people they already know, right?
