I’m currently a CoS and got approached by my CEO to be “promoted” to VP of Finance. I have a background in finance. He is positioning this as a path to CFO. I’m a little nervous about losing my Chief title and not exactly sure how that works for my career if I try to exit—I can’t really find a comparison for seniority between CoS and VP Finance. What would you do? How do you feel about this?

As a law student interested in going into the field I’ve seen a lot of negative comments saying that only lawyers who couldn’t get into big law go into PA. Although I know most people try to get into big law initially, it is very competitive and many don’t stay past 2-3 years. You certainly don’t make as much going into PA as a lawyer but the pay is certainly not bad and the WLB is generally much better. Can anyone speak to how they got into PA and if you would rather be working in Big Law

Are there any scrum masters out there willing to take me on as a mentee? I recently received my CSM, but I know that is not enough to get a job. I have a career question. Is it possible to switch careers from copywriting to sales?

Why is it that when ever I look at “entry level” jobs in IT they always want 2-4 years of experience. It’s entry level that means maybe some certifications if they didn’t major in the field or a degree in the field. Not 2-4 years already working in the field. Can someone please explain this to me?

Had been working as a BA/PM role at a financial firm for 3.5 years and decided to leave corporate to join my family’s small business with the mentality I’d take things over. How is Flipkart for Work life balance? I have ~5 years of exp and hold an offer of 32 + Stocks. Also the expectation is to know Java but during the interview process , there was no discussion of Java or any questions asked.
