Hi Folks,
Hope you are doing well, I need valuable suggestion on few of my queries.
I had joined KPMG(KGS) on April 2022, during the interview i have been told that i would be working on Java Backend Development as my background belongs to same technology and my interview was also happened on Java/Spring/Microservices; but they put me on Low-Code / No code Platform and its totally tool based work. I am frustrated with the current work as i didnt find anything productive to learn.Continued in com KPMG @

Just because the company is failing doesn’t mean that you won’t meet those people again. The chances you’ll meet them are decent since they’ll all go somewhere else if the whole company fails
Plus, what’s just 2 weeks in the longrun?
It's completely up to you and your style. If you're confident that burning bridges is irrelevant then I would leave. It's possible that you'll be let go on the spot if you tried to give a two-week notice. Plus I doubt your employer provided the two-week courtesy to those that were fired.
lol they fired my former boss for exactly that a while back
There’s no legal mandate saying you need to give them a 2-week notice, it’s a courtesy, unless your employment contract explicitly says otherwise.
With that being said, you can just give them a 2-week notice and use those 2 weeks to upskill in TSQL or do whatever you want, and get paid for those 2 weeks. Make sure you use up your PTO before you leave too
Will the offer come in and ask you to start in 2 weeks? Not sure on your future company, but in consulting, they typically build in time for a background check and also align with new joiner groups. I had a bit over a month between my offer and start date at EY.
If you aren't planning to use them as a recommendation, skip the 2 weeks. I've done it.
The best 2 weeks at a place you hate are after you give notice. You stop caring about politics/feelings and just coast.
