Does anyone want to share their offer for a CSM role at a SaaS company? Base, comp, RSU? Final rounds are next week and was told offers would come fast so trying to do research now. Been with my current company in many times and a lot has changed! All help / advice is appreciated. ZoomInfo Gainsight Inc
Microsoft is hiring an account executive and I’m really interested in the role. I have B2B sales experience in a different industry, but my skills include lead generation, prospecting, account management, negotiating, etc (all within the C Suite and other decision makers).
Would appreciate knowing if this is something I have a shot at with no tech sales experience and what I could expect for promotional opportunities and compensation.
Thanks for the help!

Avoid phrases like “circling back” and “checking in”. They bring your status down without you realizing it.
I like saying “I set a note to follow up with you this week after we last spoke. I have two slots available today and tomorrow to review any questions you have.”
It makes you sound like you have limited time slots. It tells them you’re simply following your own process.
Instead of sending a plain old follow up email, Send them something of value. Do you have a relevant case study that you can send to them that resonates with them and their use case.? Let them know that this customer use case made you think of them and then send a small token of appreciation like a $25 Starbucks gift card (via postal link) for reading the case study. Beyond case studies it could also be a positives press release about your company or some type of white paper that would resonate with them. And always at the end, let them know that you look forward to continuing the conversation and ask for a time to reconvene sometime “this week or next”. If you do multiple, I would keep the cadence to maybe once a week or so.
Just keep it short and sweet. "Hey ____, just wanted to follow up on our last call. Let me know if you've got any further questions or if you'd like to hop on a quick call to discuss." Nothing annoying about that, especially after two weeks.
