Hi Fishes, Y.O.E 7.5+ years. Tata Consultancy TCS is offering 25LPA including variable pay and everything. So just 15% increment on my current salary since they mentioned I am leaving my current organization within 1 year.
They mentioned 8-12% is VP plus 80k from that salary is paid at the end of each year. Is it a good enough salary for 7.5+ yoe candidate. Also any heads up for the things I should look out for will be really helpful.

Some companies have to do outside interviews and maybe they will find someone that fits the profile, before they pick someone with the company already. But mainly they will look to fill the position internally, it happens often these days. This job may be very specific to inside iHeart employees. If you have the experience they are looking for, apply. But if the reviews discourage you, move on. I hope I’m not discouraging you it’s not my intention. I don’t know the details, just don’t be disappointed if you don’t hear anything. But why not try. Good luck…. Just my thoughts.
I appreciate that and I don’t necessarily read into the reviews to much especially in sales just because a lot of people are not built for sale so they take it as a “bad job” when they are expected to perform. I think more of my questioning just comes from past experiences where I am looking to get into something more long term and the last few companies I’ve dealt with do not seem to be worried about keeping reps for the long haul.
I've applied for a few positions with them never hear anything back even though I was well qualified, it feels like their application portal is just an algo counter designed to jetvyou to create an acct to apply but they aren't really hiring. just my opinion
I worked there for 3 years in a sales support role. The pay and benefits are not great. Very old school. 10 days of vacation a year and you get 20 days after 10 years of working there. consistent Layoffs. AEs in a good market can have it easy if they get some key accounts like the local car dealerships or casinos. Other AEs have it tough.
Sadly, somebody that worked corporate for many years said to me that applying on-line is a total waste of time because corporations post open positions because is the law to do that, but when they need to fill a position they already have the candidate in sight and in mind.
