Why not just cash out? But most of the time I've seen folks give their 2 week notice resulted in them being asked to leave right after their notice. So you might get paid for the 2 weeks without having to work or use your pto.
Also, where you off to?
Not all states have to pay out unused pto. So definitely verify your state laws and company policies before you count on this.

At most firms your last day cannot be PTO
Thx for the info!

I want to do this as well but scared to take the leap. Tell us about your decision!
Epic! Enjoy abroad
Usually places will just cash you out, which is basically the same thing as your last 2 weeks being on PTO. They don't want to have people with access and assets, etc. that aren't really working there anymore. It's just exposure to extra risk so most HR processes won't allow it
